Proteins

Protein parts are functional proteins expressed from a vector: transactivators, light- and drug-gated actuators, reprogramming and immortalization factors, and engineered fusions. Selection depends on what the protein does, the modifications it carries relative to the wild-type sequence, its coding length against the payload budget, and the inducible system it pairs with.
