Characteristics

Enhanced-specificity SpCas9 variant with reduced off-target activity. Three point mutations (K810A, K1003A, R1060A) neutralize positive charges in non-target strand binding groove. Maintains on-target efficiency while dramatically reducing off-targets. Requires dual-AAV for in vivo delivery.
